Playoff Rules
Players can drop their 2 lowest scores from regular season.
Top 8 players* from the regular season qualify.
* (depending on overall participation, this number may increase on a season-by-season basis, so that most regular league players have a chance to qualify).
Additionally, any player with 6 qualifying scores or more for the season will qualify.
Playoff seeding is determined by overall regular season rankings.
Playoff will be played following a bracket-style format with byes beign awarded to the higher seeds, as necessary, to complete the bracket.
Matchups are head-to-head, best of 3 games, ranking matches are one-off games.
In each match, the higher seed will get the choice of machine and order of play for games #1 and #3 and lower seeds will get those choices for game #2.
Single-elimination format as follows(8 qualifier example):
- Quarterfinals: 1vs8, 2vs7, 3vs6, 4vs5, then 5th-8th place ranking match - Semifinals: winner of 1vs8 vs winner of 4vs5 and winner of 2vs7 vs winner of 3vs6, then 3rd/4th place ranking match - Final: both winners of the semifinals
